Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc. contracted with Twinsparc to refresh their corporate website located at turner.com. The previous design was 6 or 7 years old and was beginning to show it’s age.
To clean things up, we started by simplifying the layout placing high prominence on the Turner logo and Turner blue in the banner. We created a center banner space so that each page could contain a unique photograph of the Turner campuses, employees, associations and brands. We delivered a neat and tidy site, easy for in-house maintenance.
To build brand interest we partnered with Todd Dominey to create a rotating Flash animation that pulls brand-specific images or animations dynamically through a simple XML document. This allows CNN, Boomerang, Cartoon Network, TBS, TCM, and Turner South to each create promotions on their own time tables; the Turner web team can update the animation in-house.

Spoleto Festival USA contracted with Twinsparc for a second year to improve upon the spectacular website improvement results from 2004. This year we updated the look and feel of the site to match the 2005 season, and added a slew of new “behind-the-curtain†features for the Spoleto staff to take advantage of, including: advanced sales and ticket reporting tools, in-house maintenance of all text on the site, among other things.
Spoleto Festival USA launched the 2005 website in November of 2004, and it’s been serving the public well as an online ticket purchasing vehicle, an online gift store, and a one-stop source for all kinds of information about the festival.

An interactive product catalog produced for both web and CD-ROM delivery. We handled the design, architecture, usability testing, and project management and partnered up with Dominey Design for the Flash production.
We helped develop a system for the catalog product data storing it in a flexible and extensible XML format. By doing so, development costs were reduced because the catalog could be ported from web to CD-ROM without requiring the information to be reformatted or re-written.

Renowned violinist Oliver Steiner requested a website designed to promote his performing and teaching services. We created a design that portrays his classical music offerings with dignity and finesse.
Mr. Steiner saw immediate enrollment increases in his teaching studio thanks to the enhanced visibility and usability of the website design we created for him.

The Young Professionals of Decatur group (a local business group) asked Twinsparc to build a website the group could maintain regularly in-house. We constructed the site using the Textpattern CMS, and worked both a business directory and bulletin board system into it for them. The site receives many new members each month and updates regularly to showcase it’s monthly meetings.
